Time Isn't the Problem—You Are

It's the excuse we all roll our eyes at when someone else says it—but when we use it? Totally justified. Funny how that works, isn't it?

My pastor, PT, put it best: "We have become great judges of other people's excuses and amazing lawyers of our own."

This excuse comes in all kinds of forms: "I can't, I'm too tired." "There's not enough time in the day." "I'll get to it when things slow down." Sound familiar?

The truth is, if you actually break it down, you waste a lot of time on the wrong things.

I see people texting on their phones during work hours, then wishing they could get off early. I hear parents say they never have time for their kids—but they know every stat for their favorite football team.

The Problem Isn't Time—The Problem Is You. Let that sink in for a second.

I know that's hard to hear. I also know that most weak-minded people stopped reading a long time ago. But if you're still here, you're different. You can handle the truth.

Because honesty is uncomfortable. And most people would rather stay comfortable than grow.

But if you're tired of making excuses, here's the truth: You don't need more time. You need more discipline. Your life is the result of your priorities. So what are you prioritizing?
